Genpact inviting Applications for Business Analyst – Data Quality Consultant. The Data Quality Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the trust in our business data by reviewing the completeness and integrity of our company’s data assets.

Job Designation : Business Analyst – Data Quality Consultant

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

  1. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including data profiling, data validation and data cleansing.
  2. Familiarity with database systems and data manipulation languages (SQL).
  3. Understanding of core insurance processes, related functions and systems, including experience of Subscribe (Policy Admin System) frontend interface and backend datastore.
  4. Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project/ MS PowerPoint.
  5. BDX / Delegated Authority system
  6. Experience of Alteryx Data Analytics and PowerBI Visualisation applications.
  7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to explore complex data related issues.
  8. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  9. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey complex concepts clearly.
  10. Proven ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  11. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and best practices is beneficial.

Job Description :

This role involves working collaboratively with various teams to identify and rectify data inconsistencies, exceptions and anomalies.

  1. Perform routine checks to identify and correct inaccuracies or inconsistencies in large datasets.
  2. Utilize data profiling tools to identify data exceptions, missing information, non-compliant and other outlying data.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data entered into systems meets established quality standards and work with the business to resolve exceptions identified.
  4.  Build on the existing suite of DQ validation tests to cover a broader set of business data and develop additional logic to validate data both within systems and across business processes.

Quality Assurance:

  1.  Develop and execute data quality checks to monitor ongoing data accuracy and identify trends.
  2. Investigate and resolve data related issues reported by users or identified through automated processes.
  3.  Document data quality issues, their root causes, and resolutions for future reference.

Process Improvement:

  1.  Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes by suggesting enhancements and efficiencies.
  2.  Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards and guidelines.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data quality checks and business process validation.
  5.  Communicate data quality findings and recommendations to relevant teams and management.

Training and Support:

  1. Provide training and support to team members on data entry best practices and data quality initiatives.
  2. Offer guidance to users on resolving data quality issues and preventing future occurrences.
