GOOGLE Girl Hackathon is a program for women students in computer science and allied courses across India.

It has been designed to provide a platform for women in the engineering campus space to showcase their coding skills and promote creative solutions for real time technical challenges.

This virtual hackathon will challenge the innovation and problem solving skills of the participants and inspire them to creatively engage with Google.

Please ensure you are registered for the hackathon on the website and you should have read through all the guidelines and eligibility criteria in detail. Registrations for the hackathon will close on May 28 at 11:59 PM IST. Once registrations close you will receive an email from the Girl Hackathon team to confirm if your application meets all the eligibility criteria and next steps from thereon.

Fri, 2 June 2023 9:00                                      Coding Challenge Round
Participants whose application has been accepted and confirmed for the Girl Hackathon program will be invited for the first round – Google Online Challenge which will be a coding round which will look at your coding skills. You will be provided a time window during which you will be asked to take up this challenge at your convenience. In addition to the Coding challenge scores your resumes will be evaluated to provide a holistic picture.
Sat, 10 June 2023 13:00                                Learning Cohorts
Individual participants who clear the coding challenge round will be invited for an immersive learning experience as part of the Learning Cohorts and will get the opportunity to learn and engage with Googlers. Alongside this learning journey they will also be provided with assignments to work on which will be evaluated in this round and will allow them to progress to the next round.
Thu, 6 July 2023 17:00                                Ideathon
Participants who reach the final Ideathon round will be asked to put their knowledge into practice and solution for a themed problem statement. This round is divided into two parts where the first section would be for participants to submit their code repository. Based on the submissions students will then be shortlisted and invited to the final presentation round. The best solutions amongst the lot will be judged by Senior Google Leaders thereby allowing us to find our winners and runners up of Girl Hackathon 2023.
