Job Designation : Software Engineer ( Database Administrator)

Qualification :  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

1. Good knowledge Azure Cloud, NO SQL, MongoDB.
2. Expertise in SQL Server Database Administration Activities.
3. Good exposure in Database and SQL Performance Tuning.
4. Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting, table insert and update join statements
5. Strong knowledge of database \ Windows issues monitoring and troubleshooting.
6. Strong Experience Installing and Managing SQL Server all the version, configuration and applied hotfix and service pack.
7. Strong Experience in Database backup and restoration in standalone and cluster environments.
8. Good to have knowledge developing and maintaining ETL tools and platforms such as SSIS,  SSRS
9. Added advantage writing power shell script s to automate DBA routine task
10. Knowledge on Azure Cloud , NO SQL, MongoDB , Good to have experience Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud.
11. Added advantage knowledge Agile/Scrum process by attending daily stand-ups and Sprint Planning sessions.
12. knowledge, monitoring tools like SOLARWINDS
13. Possession of either MS SQL DBA Certification or Microsoft Azure Solutions Certification would be a plus
14. Eexcellent English communication skills, both verbal and writing skills.

Job Description :

The Data Base Administrator (DBA) is responsible for providing technical support for the database environment including overseeing the development and organization databases.

1. Responsible for Database support, troubleshooting, planning, and migration.
2. Implement daily reports to highlight Backup failures, Disk space issues and Job failures.
3. Rebuilding the indexes on regular intervals and placing table/non-clustered index
4. Troubleshooting of SQL Server performance issues using SQL Server Profiler, Trace, Index tuning wizard
5. Design and implement comprehensive Backup plan and disaster recovery strategies.
6. Create, deploy, configure and monitor complex SSIS, SSRS and CDC
7. Automate task which been historically done manually using PowerShell, T-sql or Command line utilities.
8. Knowledge Azure Cloud, NO SQL, MongoDB
9. Proven experience in SQL Server Database Administration Activities
10. Strong Experience Installing and Managing SQL Server all the version, configuration and applied hotfix and service pack
11. Implement and maintain database security
12. Strong Experience in Database backup and restoration in standalone and cluster environments
13. Perform all database and server integrity check
14. Regular Check Database performance and performance statistics using the profiler research and resolve issues.
15. Configure Mail server , configure jobs to check  database integrity and fragmentations.
16. Every month check database and maintain database growth.
