Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers/Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Korn).
  2. Proficient in writing complex SQL scripts for Oracle, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  3. Familiarity with database management systems and database design principles.
  4. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  5. Familiar with scripting languages, such as Python or Perl.
  6. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
  7. Certification in Unix or SQL scripting is a plus.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  11. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Description :

As a Unix, SQL Script Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Unix scripts and SQL scripts to support our database systems and applications. You will work closely with the development team, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective data management processes.

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain Unix scripts to automate system tasks and processes.
  2. Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL scripts to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
  3.  Collaborate with the development team to understand data requirements and develop scripts accordingly.
  4. Work with database administrators to identify and resolve performance issues in SQL scripts.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug Unix scripts and SQL scripts to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
  6. Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
  7. Ensure data integrity and security by following best practices for Unix and SQL scripting.
  8. Document Unix scripts and SQL scripts for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  9. Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and developments in Unix and SQL scripting.
  10. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
