Job Designation : Software Consultant – Azure Cloud Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Sound knowledge of Azure products and services: Azure AD, VM, Key Vault, Backup, Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Security Center, Azure Web Apps and Functions.
  2. Familiar with Azure Cloud operations.
  3. Sound knowledge of Linux and Windows OS Administration.
  4. Experience in Infrastructure and Azure Cloud  Operations.
  5. Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts.
  6. Hands on experience Managing solutions on Azure.
  7. Experience with Open-Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.).
  8. Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g. AWS).
  9. Strong communication and written skills.

Job Description :

Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from client Platform. This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

  1. Develop and Maintain Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.
  2. Understands and experienced in Rehydration or Immutable Infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and ARM.
  3. Understands and experience in Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Chef.
  4. Hands on experience with Windows and Linux and Administration.
  5. Infrastructure provisioning, configuration and application deployment is completely automated.
  6. IaC – Infrastructure as Code. Automation scripts are treated as code; source controlled and versioned. (So being comfortable with GitHub, Linux, python scripting, PowerShell and etc).
  7. Be able to troubleshoot issues on the VMs, Windows/Linux Server VMs.
  8. Write operational procedures.
  9. Work closely with Application/Product owners.
  10. Remediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies.
  11. Notify Client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology.
  12. Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, computing, storage and management products.
